I created these paintings during what I lovingly refer to as my first solo ‘retreat’ (AKA a big ol’ mental breakdown) in 2023! Here is a little snippet of said ‘retreat’ I posted about a couple years ago.
I went away to find myself again, and truthfully, to also rediscover my love for art…
These paintings come from the most beautiful photoshoot I ran with the amazing Sophie Mayanne and a couple of beautiful models, and I couldn’t not turn her wonderful work into my own versions of art.
So, in between tears and cups of tea, I sat down and gave myself one hour per day to just create!!
I put a timer on and created an hours study piece.
No stress, no pressure, no worries, just creating…
And from that these beautiful paintings were born!!! … Then, old imposter syndrome hit deep, and they’ve been framed, living in the LR HQ office ever since… So, throwing caution (and my own anxiety) to the side, here they are, yours to have, to hold and to love as much as I do!!!
